Tammy, this was one of the fathers of the blues from the 1930’s, he was extremely young when he died under “mysterious” circumstances. You should look up the story of Robert Johnson on Google, interesting story. They say he sold his soul to the devil, in return for fame in the music world. They say his song “Crossroads” was about where he made the pact with the devil (an actual place in Clarksdale Mississippi). He wrote the song “Crossroads” that so many others have done after he died. Eric Clapton was influenced by Robert Johnson, as have many other great musicians such as the Rolling Stones. It’s a creepy story but in any event he was a very remarkable musician and very influential to many other musicians even to this day.

I’ll have to do that, but it won’t be tonight. I’m getting very tired, maybe this means I will get a little shut eye tonight, or I could just lay here and be tired all night. Just have to wait and see, but I will google that tomorrow. Have a good night.

Hi I travel thru the DELTA taking pictures, finding Bluesmen’s graves and undiscovered, elderly authentic musicians … Willie Brown and Charlie Patton are the co/founders of the Delta Blues … Ike Zimmerman taught Johnson …. such a BLAST finding the sites of the BLUES 🙂
