Sensory Overload

This article says it all for me. HYPERSENSITIVE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM + SENSORY OVERLOAD = a brain that won’t shut off, ever. Along with other physical manifestations. This is one biggee of why I can’t sleep much of the time.

Me too! I spent much of last night searching for natural treatments for sensory processing sensitivity and I came up with nothing. The only solutions seem to be for kids with sensory processing disorder. It’s frustrating! And, for me, sensory over-stimulation leads to brain fog and very slow sensory processing.
